I am so Dumb/Hurt

I love cooking. I really do. The only thing is, I'm not a pro at it. Which means that I'm not really good with knives. Well, today, I got the notion to cut the cantaloupe that's been sitting on the counter for more than a week but had still been good. And I got the notion to cute with a chopping knife. It looks a lot like this:

Well, I put the knife in once. So far, so good. And then, once I put it in the second time to cute the thing in half, I didn't notice, but my left hand index finger was in the way, and so, I cut my finger. 

At first, I was like, ya, whatever. Everyone's cut their finger before. And I was all like that until I look at my finger. The blood is like gushing from it. And so I walk to the medicine cabinet to get a band-aid, but I stop right before I step on the carpet, because, I'm like literally dropping blood on the floor.

Now, I won't get any more gory. I'll just tell you, that I put on a band-aid, but it got soaked and blood started falling from that, and so I had to wrap it in a tissue and then put on my band-aid. (which, btw, is angry birds!!!)

And so now I have a hard time typing. Oh, and after I put this on, my 1-and-2-months-old brother comes up to me with hi index finger in the air, saying "ooooohhh oooooh" (he can't talk yet). I tell him to tell my mom. He goes to my mom. "oooh. ooooooh." And of course, we all understand, that he wants a band-aid also. And so he pulls my mom (with the same "hurt" finger) to the medicine cabinet, and gets a band-aid on. Which he ends up pulling off with his teeth :) 

And this is my poor poor finger now.

Pancakes- Can make you sad

Well, today I finally made the pancakes I was supposed to do last week. But, turns out we didn't have any berries or whipped cream. So, of course, I was sad. And then my loving father saw that and drove to Target and got me my whipped cream and a box of strawberries. I was so happy! But I didn't know that he was going to leave for some business work right then. If I had known, I would have never told him to go! So my mother had heated up some food for him on a plate, and then my sisters started to eat from it, and then my dad sees it and thinks it's for them, and that there's no food for him, and then just leaves without even eating because he was in a rush! And then of course, my mom gets mad at me and why I sent him to go bring those stuff when we could've just eaten our pancakes with maple syrup. But this was the first time my uncle and grandfather would eat pancakes, and I wanted to do it properly! And the whole time I was thinking that the whole family would sit down together and eat. I had no idea that my father would be going some place else. But my mom ignores that and just keeps on yelling about how it's all my fault and how everything always falls on her shoulders. I really didn't get the last part. I am the one making the pancakes. Oh well. She's my mom. What can I expect?

Anyways, I have my end-of-the-year testing this week. PLZ make dua that I do good inshaAllah.

IKEA

Well, on Saturday, we had a change of plans. We were going to slaughter a cow, that's why I wasn't able to make my big breakfast. But then my little brother got a fever that night, so they weren't able to go slaughter the cow either. And so basically, we had a normal breakfast, but, we went to one of my favorite stores: IKEA

I love Ikea because of all the pretty rooms they have :) And also because you can actually find some really nice stuff there. Take a look :)

This room was so nice. It was red and black, my top two favorite colors, and the best part was, one of the walls were black, and I looked at it, and it turned out to be a CHALK BOARD!!!! Now isn't that just the coolest thing ever?
